I bought two of these subs and put them into a box that i made. I knew they would hit hard and if you buy the right amp and wiring it makes it even better. These subs shook my rear view mirror off. It makes my hair stand up on the back of your neck. I had a competition at my school and won. I beat subs from mtx and alpine type R’s. These subs are amazing and won me 50 dollars. The only thing is that they are single voice coil so they don’t do very good with hard metal. But that is why the price drops so much which is why these are so great.

What is the right speakers to get if I have 2 kenwood subs and an amp?
I need to know what is the right speakers to get.
I have two 12 Kenwood inch kenwood subs and a kenwood amp,
but the speakers in my car just dont seem to match what my subs are kicking out.
I just need to know what the correct Watt of speakers i should get to help match the sound i get from my subs.

You can’t beat the sound quality for the price. Put them in a good box and enjoy some high-end sound your neighbors can feel.
MY FRIEND HAS A PAIR OF THESE WITH THE 9104D MONO AMP & WHEN WE FINALLY COMPARED EACH OTHERS SYSTEM HE WISHED THAT HE COULD HAVE GOTTEN MINE (THE PAIR OF KFC W3012’s with THE 9104d MONO AMP).. THE W3012’s MELTS YOUR EAR WAX AS IT POUNDS WITH THE BETTER LOWS & AT THE SAME TIME HAVING THAT KLEEN AWESOME SQ THAT KENWOOD DELIVERS (WELL OBVIOUSLY THOSE ARE THE NEWER, THE NEXT LEVEL & MUCH BETTER IMPROVED ONES).. NOW HE WONT LEAVE ME ALONE… SO I RECOMMEND GETTING THE NEWER VERSION OF THIS ESPECIALLY WITH THE 9104D MONO AMP.. DONT DO WHAT HE DID…’NUFF SAID!!!
this is an old posting for 6ave, they will not ship you this subwoofer. i received the kfc-w3012 which is worse than the 3011. just go and change who you are buying this from under the “new” at “$that price”, waste of my time from 6ave waiting for a sub to come in and it was not even the right one.
Powerful bumpin, I have these on a Lanzar 2000 watt amp with a 2.8 Farad cap in a Buick. these hit hard not the cleanest bass but I’m think that’s more the amp because these have some sick response with a 1.3 cu ft box. Very sick for the price from beastie boys to ODB to tool to NIN to INSX to Pink Floyd they all hit hard and sound great on these.

These are the most amazing 6×9 speakers I’ve ever heard. They have plenty of bass and almost too much highs, but it is amazingly crystal clear. Definatly a must buy if you are looking for reasonably priced 6×9s.
Put them in a chevy malabu sounds fantastic with kenwood amp and stock stereo nice and clear great base for price did not use ugly covers though fortunately the rear deck on the 07 malabu has built in covers and everything fit again well worth the money and I would definitely buy again
The Beater Blade is OK but not the efficient bowl cleaner that I had hoped.
I have used this a few times now, making several batches of cookies and I am VERY pleased with it’s performance. Without it I had to stop and scrape the bowl periodically which I found to be a pain; however with this gem I don’t scape at all! It was very easy to adjust to the machine(Cuisinart)following the instructions. Dishwasher safe too! I can’t speak to its’ durability as I haven’t had it too long.
If you enjoy music, search elsewhere. no punch, no rumble, no clarity – just the bass ‘pop’ that makes you cringe, and a little crackle where precise highs should be. At mid-volume, where my set of $30, 50W Roadmaster VR3s bumped (obscure brand, sold by Target, rattling from continuous max-volume listening), these speakers cry for mercy. I used to be an advocate for ‘greater expense=better quality’ until I discovered those VR3s, and now I realize we can make these demands of inexpensive speakers. Don’t write these off as simply being inexpensive and therefore incapable of quality; do your research, find speakers of the same price with a nice, heavy magnet and a well-made cone, and jam away.
Blown or not, those VR3s are probably the best 6.5″ speakers I’ve come across, and they’re going back in the car until I find another pair.
Wooh! Just installed the two speakers today(10/03/09) in my 01 toyota Sienna. It took over 3 weeks from purchase to be installed b’cos of work schedule. The sound from the speakers is great and crisp/ Though usage is less than a day I am overhelmed with the result.It is the exact space (6.5′)for the toyota Sienna. It was installed for me by a friend who owns Autobody company(Nulook) There was litle or no modification(s), just a perfect fit. I did check out customers reviews before I settled on the product. So far so good

Great speakers for the money plan to purchase more in the future and they look cool too!
I installed these speakers in my ‘71 Triumph Spitfire, paired with a new Clarion stereo. The speakers look great and sound really good. I may get another pair for the front, but for now the rear set is fine. I am rockin’ with the top down and the music sounding good!
As i said, its a monster!! I am pushing it at 1.33 OHMS, which may not be reccomended, but its keeping cool, its very loud and clear, i have two DVC 4 ohm infinities ran in series to four ohms, and two Quantum cozmik 12s ar two ohms, this thing pounds
I had extra car audio stuff in my closet and decided to hook it up in my truck, so i needed an amp to push a pair of subs i have. This amp should be able to push my two subs no problem, but i can only put output level up to under the half mark, otherwise this amp blows fuses like crazy….i have never had a kicker, or infinity or audiobahn amp ever do this regardless of any aplication.
You get what you pay for and i just wanted a cheap amp for my subs….and this amp is cheap…it works but it is cheap. If you want a nice system kenwood is not it.

I have to give this product a big thumbs up, its good enough to push 2 12″ JBL Subs with pretty good power, accurate bass, but its not going to make your eardrums beg for mercy, which may or may not be a deal breaker for you. I would recommend this product though for a decent sound system and better than average factory sound.
